Celebrate Your Story! – Volume 12

Happy Saturday! I hope that you are having a fabulous weekend and getting ready to cheer your favorite team on in tomorrows Super Bowl.

Or if you’re like me, you’re planning what glorious craft project you are going to tackle while everyone else is cheering on their favorite team in tomorrows Super Bowl. If that’s you… last week’s Celebrate Your Story! Link Party had some great DIY ideas shared and my picks creatively infuse a little more organization into your home.

But before diving into what these talented bloggers have to offer, be sure to stop by the Blogiversary Party (HERE) that was announced on Thursday.  There’s cake, presents, and an amazing giveaway that you won’t want to miss.

Ok… so here are my DIY touchdowns from last week’s party:

Thrifty Jewelry Organizer by Sadie Seasongoods

DIY Jewelry Organizer

When I first saw Sadie’s organizer, I was so mesmerized by the cheery color and smart storage solution, I had no idea that it was a repurposed utensil holder. So clever!

DIY Jewelry Organizer by Little Free Monkeys

DIY Jewelry Organizer

When we were picking up supplies for our DIY wine bar, I saw this awesome aluminum sheeting and immediately wanted to put it in our cart. I’ve been dreaming of it ever since and was delighted to see how Anika turned it into a jewelry organizer.

Upcycled Wine Bottle Crate by Redo It Yourself Inspirations

storage crateI love wine crates. They have a gorgeous rustic elegance and when you are giving a bottle as a gift, it’s truly a nice touch. But what do you do with the crate when the gift is given and the wine is gone? Robin’s repurposed memo board is a brilliant solution.

So what have you been working on this week? Any repurposed projects that are organizing your home for 2016?
