Celebrate Your Story! – Volume 18

Hello Spring! After a gorgeous weekend here in Portland, we are back to the usual rain.

Typical Spring in the Pacific Northwest.

But seriously… I can’t complain because everything is blooming and there are more sunny days ahead.

Around here we are getting ready for Easter and loads of Spring activities. I’m trying to take time to savor every moment as the school year will be over before we know it and my youngest will be eyeing her senior year of high school.

Sometimes it’s just better if I stick my head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge that it’s even happening.

Anyhoo… I’m also excited to share that after a short hiatus, the Storypiece Weekly Newsletter will back with a fun announcement and a new feature this Sunday. If you are searching for recipe, decor and craft inspiration to drop in your inbox on a weekly basis, be sure to sign-up HERE.

In the meantime, let’s dive in to the Celebrate Your Story! features from last weeks Link Party. With Easter this upcoming Sunday, these bloggers have more gorgeous suggestions for your holiday celebration.

Upcycled Denim Eggs by Pillar Box Blue

Denim Easter Eggs

Claire decorated these eggs using recycled denim. Including a variety of jeans allowed her to come up with a fun stripe and because the eggs are small, you don’t need much for coverage. This craft is so clever and a nice way to use up leftover scraps from another denim project.

Farmhouse Easter Table by The Robin’s Next Designs

Easter is known for it’s soft pastel colors, but it makes my heart so happy to see a holiday table set in bold color. Lory creates a beautiful table and walks you through step by step to creating your own.

Marbled Easter Eggs & Bookpage Nest by KreativK

Marbled Easter Eggs

Marbled Easter eggs are very on trend this year. Katrin displayed hers in a nest filled with shredded book pages which brilliantly completes the look.

Now it’s your turn. What are you crafting for Easter or Spring?
