When I started Storypiece 4 years ago, I had no idea how it would evolve. I had a vague concept of what I wanted to write about and that was about it. I didn’t know what was going to resonate with readers and often times I still don’t. There are things like analytics that you can watch and engagement metrics, but seriously you just never know exactly what people are going to love or hate.
At least, I never know…
Two years ago when I shared these Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt Clues, I never thought that it would be the most popular thing I would write to date.
At the time it was just something fun I was planning for my kids and thought I would share it on the blog. Since then, I’ve heard from countless readers that have enjoyed these clues being a part of their Easter celebration and I deeply treasure that.
However, if your kids (or grandkids) are like mine, they are catching on and remember the hiding places from year to year. My kids are ready for a new set of clues to keep them on their egg hunting toes.
The fun thing about this second set of clues is that they can be mixed in with the first set. You can send kids off on their own egg hunt, with their own unique set of clues or you can combine both sets and code the eggs like I did in the original post (CLICK HERE) for an even longer scavenger hunt experience.
Although my kids are 16 & 20 (gulp!) they still have a lot of fun searching for eggs. Having older kids only means that you can get more challenging with where you hide the eggs.
