The Best Way to Add Gold into Your Home

Happy Sunday!

Today is one of my favorite Sundays.  For some, Super Bowl Sunday is huge, but in my book, THIS is the first major Sunday of the year.  That’s right…  I’m talking about the Academy Awards.  The fashion, the celebrities, the movies… it’s just the most fabulous day!  So in honor of all the glamour, I have a quick and easy way to add some Oscar gold to your home.

3. Carefully remove tape before it dries and touch-up paint where necessary.  Then add fun flowers.

The best thing about this craft is that it’s a fast way to add a fresh gold accent in about 15 minutes.

Thanks Zakkiya! It’s a quickie project that I think is going to be fun for Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day too. Love it when that happens!

Debbie, you have no idea how much your comment means to me! I’m embarrassed by how bad my photos have been with this blog and I feel like I’m finally seeing improvement since I got a better camera (I got the Nikon DS3100 for Christmas) which I still am learning a ton about and with my Photoshop skills improving. I still take about 500 photos for every one that I actually use. I’m hoping that a tripod for my birthday will bring that number down to 300. 🙂

Feel free to email me any time and I’ll be happy to share the VERY limited knowledge I have.

      Hi Karen,

I believe the narrow tape is from the Martha Stewart Craft line. If you can’t find it at your local craft store, I’ve seen it on Amazon.

Good luck and thanks for stopping by! 🙂
