Graduation is just around the corner and that means our oldest is heading off to college too soon for words. Although I know it’s going to be a hard transition for me, I’m so excited for all of the opportunities and possibilities that are ahead for Evan.
One thing we’ve begun doing to prepare him for being on his own has been to give him grocery money for his weekly breakfasts and lunches. We’ve been wanting Evan to see exactly how to manage his meals within a budget and how to make good nutritional choices in the process. And though I’m not a stickler about our diet, I hope that both of my kids leave the nest knowing what proper nutrition looks like and how to avoid having your metabolism crash… especially when you need to be sharp and focused.
So I was thrilled to discover that Tyson Foods has introduced its first line of breakfast items – Tyson® Day Starts™ breakfast sandwiches! The products are available in seven varieties, including biscuit sandwiches, breakfast flatbreads and wrapped omelets. This week Evan decided to try the wrapped omelets and biscuit sandwiches.
Tyson® Day Starts™ products make for a speedy breakfast as they are ready to eat in less than two minutes. They are also ideal for busy families…or in our case, a young adult living on his own and looking for a wholesome breakfast, but might be pressed for time in the mornings.
But even better than the convenience, is the quality of the product itself. Evan’s exact words were “Oh… yeeaaaah! I think I have a new favorite.” In fact, the wrap and biscuit sandwich are equally great with high quality ingredients that pack major flavor. He’ll definitely be adding both to his breakfast rotation.
Evan is glad to find a delicious breakfast product that he can enjoy at home or on-the-go. And I’m happy to know that my kiddo will be eating well since Tyson® Day Starts™ products provide a convenient way to start the day with warm and savory breakfast sandwiches anyone can enjoy.
Have you had a chance to try the Tyson® Day Starts™ breakfast sandwiches yet? What is your go-to quick and easy breakfast of choice? Anyone else preparing themselves for next fall yet?
