Last spring, I shared that we were looking for lamps for our living room. We had tried out these gorgeous Broyhill glass lamps, but sadly, they weren’t right for the space.
So after six months in the dark, we finally have light.
Actually since some of those months were through the summer, we weren’t in that much darkness, but now that Daylight Savings has hit, we are truly thankful to have found lighting for the room.
Part of the challenge of finding lamps for this area was selecting ones that would cast enough light, but wouldn’t be too big for the sofa table. We really couldn’t exceed a twelve inch shade. Unfortunately, many lamps at that size don’t give off enough light for our space. With these Trident Home lamps, we totally scored.
They have a square shade that Tyson was really wanting and a little flare that I like.
The base, although traditional, has a bit of an industrial vibe going on too.
The best part is that they cast the perfect amount of light… enough to see by without feeling like you are on an airport runway.
Sometimes it takes us a while to get exactly what we want, but when we do, the wait is always worth it.
What have you had to wait for to find works perfectly in your home? Have you purchased any new lighting lately? Are you living in the dark?
